    hi all,
i'd imagine someone on here might have had similar trees knocked down in the storm a few months back, we have old beech trees that i would like to cut into planks rather than burn.

whats the right way to go about this?
should it be left to dry for a couple of years before i call a mobile sawmill or get them now?
also any recommendations for sawmill around Clare.
    thanks

If you have a good-sized chainsaw, you have options:

There's a guy on Adverts.ie selling woodturning lathes from Clare who also mills logs.
