    1. What is your budget?
    1000 - 1200.

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer?
    Gaming/Streaming

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes/No]
    No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer?
EDIT(All parts are two years old and used a lot.)
    RAM(8GB 2x4GB)
    Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3
    PSU: 750 watt
    SSD: 128gb
    Case: CM 690 II Advanced

I have liquid cooling in my current PC I wasn't too sure if that should be used on a new CPU after 2 years of use on my current one.

    5. Do you need a monitor? [Yes/No]
Yes If there's money left over I would like to pick up two although I currently have monitors so it's not a priority.

5a. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future?
1920 x 1080 yes I do plan to upgrade them in the future.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.]
    No

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Yes/No]
Yes.(Although I would need help with it.)

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]
    Laser/Credit Debit

    9. When are you purchasing? [In x days]
    7 - 14 days

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based?
Some help would be great I'm in the Dublin Clondalkin Area

I was mainly looking at upgrading the processor/GPU in my current system to an i7 3770k and a GTX770 although I wasn't too sure if it would be more worth my while to replace everything I'm not too sure on the life span of the rest of the parts in my computer!

And also it was the same price for the 4770k if I was to just change the motherboard so maybe it would be worth it just to change the motherboard for the sockets to fit it.

looks to me that it's alot easier and cheaper to just upgrade your current one since it's still a good machine but we need to know what CPU and GPU do you have?

Currently there's an i5 2500k and a GTX 560ti! I ordered in an i7 3770k/GTX 770 today! Although I'm a bit unsure of myself about putting these parts in and I also forgot to order thermal paste! Not sure if that comes with the CPU.

Yes it does come with it. Pointless upgrade. Will see a big difference with the Gpu. Big. The CPU would have been better off keeping the I5 for another 4/5 months.

Did I need to say power off? Nahhh.

Gpu is a piece of pish.... unscrew back holders , disconnect power connections from the card. Pull back they clips on the Gpu slot that keeps it in, holding the clips open and slide out card. Youtube this is easy.

CPU a little more delicate. Again youtube your mobo and CPU . Should get a hit.

That's grand, thanks! Honestly I just went ahead with the upgrades now while I can afford them! The computer has been running really really slow with certain games lately(League of legends specifically) So I felt like I needed to start changing parts in it so I can actually play properly again. Not knowing exactly what's causing the issue though is really annoying me as I've tried reinstalling windows twice and doing every possible fix I can for the software side of things.

Oh well if it's that easy I should be fine doing it! Even after studying to do all this stuff in college and working in PC world I never really got the chance to do it myself! So as much as I read about how it's done I still barely had any idea.. But I should have an easy enough time doing this!

It's a good CPU just would have ditched the mobo. And went newer .but I get you probably seen that as a pain. Will run new games no sweat. Have not seen this league of legends myself. Gonna youtube it now.

I was considering replacing the mobo to be honest I just wasn't too sure what mobo I should replace it with! Honestly though if this get's me through a year or two with this setup running fine I'll be happy enough! I was just trying to pick up the best upgrades I can put in right now rather than waiting I've been feeling pretty impatient with how it's been running lately.

And when you see it you'll probably understand why I'm a bit stressed about the performance issues with it! It's not the most graphically intense game around.

Haha yes so I see PlayStation2 called it wants its game back. that should be running smooth. Well if the new components don't max that, it has to be a game optimisation thing.

The 3770K is strong CPU. And the Gpu 770 blows the 560ti away.hell I get ultra settings on Rome 2 and that piece of **** is a hog.

You will be able to use shadow play now. Record your gameplay footage even after it has already happened.

Haha it wouldn't surprise me if it was an optimization thing knowing the company that make the game! It just makes me mad that none of my friends have the same issues. Although I've also been having issues with the performance of my PC overall while using dual monitors! I was told it might be because I've got two completely different (EDIT: "Brand of monitors")(Both 1920x1080) but I wasn't too sure on that this is the first time I've had a PC strong enough to have two monitors.

I'll be glad to be able to play Rome 2 properly then. I was really put off playing it due to how it performed on this setup so that will be fun.

Well I'm praying it will run OBS while I'm playing games! I really want to start streaming again I just cant do it consistently with how badly things run sometimes.

Maybe look into An SSD for your windows. And leave HDD for everything else. Speeds **** right up. ssd are cheap enough now. Scratch that you have one.

Yeah Rome 2 on a 560ti is going to have trouble. Again its only getting optimized properly now.

Shadow play from what I have seen does not hit performance like say fraps.

Yeah the ssd has been great! I never realised how much of an improvement it would be untill I tried it.

I might have to try it again and see how it is now because I was really disappointed not giving it a proper shot it looks like a lot of fun.

Honestly for recording so far I've only ever used Xsplit when I needed to record videos and such that gave some pretty decent quality and didn't put much strain on performance.

Well the shadow play comes with any gtx card over a 660. Is good for those lerroyy Jenkins moments. As you don't have to be recording all the time. You press the key and it takes a snap shot of the last 15 min of play so you don't gotta miss a cool moment again.
