G&P SR15 URX Compensator removal

    Hey lads,Can anyone tell me what threads the G&P SR15 URX uses? I'm having awful trouble removing the compensator/flash hider.

    AFAIK they are a clockwise thread so righty tighty, lefty loosey.

    As above, Clockwise on G&P. They do like to loctite everything on their rifles so a bit of force is usualy required

    As mack1984 has stated they loctite them i had the same trouble a few weeks back.It took a bit of force but it did open.

    You could try using a small bit of heat to melt the loctite.

    given the chemical make up for most of their products you can try acetone or soapy water, warm water of course :)

    Try nail polish remover.

    Works for my every time I need to remove glued on flash-hiders.
