    Hi.

My wife wants to trade in her car for a newer one, but the trade in car has slight body damage on it, the rear quarter panel needs repairing, there's a dent on the boot and on the driver side there are scuff marks with a dent.

So is it worth getting it repaired or just trading as is???

    Thanks.

    What year is it?

If the scrapes were fixed, would you expect it to be one of the best examples, or is it otherwise average? As in colour, spec, mileage etc.

Fix it up and sell it privately. That's a good uk spec and colour and should sell relatively easily.

Then go and buy straight (maybe a UK model again)

You'll most likely be better off by a few grand.
