    Hi

I was reading up about the btea and it said you can change if you want from your current social welfare payment (opfp) to btea, but I was wondering, when you finish your course, do you have to apply for opfp again or will it automatically switch back?

If you are on opfp it is no benefit to you at all to switch to beta.
Stay on your opfp and go to WWW.susi.ie to apply for an educational grant to supplement your SW. The closing date for susi is August 1.
