I don't know if this is the right place for this or not. But maybe scrapbookers could advise.

I have two old boxes of these photo corners labelled 'Ideal Photo Corners' which I bought maybe 40 years ago, it just says they were made in Ireland. I tested one by sticking it to paper to check the adhesive before I dumped them and lo and behold they still stick, as strong as concrete!! They probably are not around any more but does anyone know what company produced them? On auction sites there are a couple for sale described as 'vintage'. Shows my age! :D Are the modern ones the same as mine, i.e. lick to stick, or are they peel-off to stick, if you know what I mean?

All that I have seen in the last 20 years are peel off. I haven't seen lick n stick since I was stamp collecting at about 10 years old!
No idea who made them but found this

    These are what I have:

    https://www.etsy.com/listing/122411885/antique-ideal-photo-corners-full-box?ref=market

That says 'Vintage item from 1900 - 1909" I bought them around 40 years ago so that date is way off. :D

But on mine, across the red band at the bottom it says "Made in the Republic of Ireland" It shows some space after 'Republic' and 'of Ireland' in Bold, so it looks like they inserted whatever country they wanted onto the packet. Anyway as my photo corners are in such good condition after all this time I am going to use them. I was curious about who made them in Ireland but maybe they weren't. We don't really do much manufacturing any more, a pity.
