BTEA and Springboard Simultaneously

This is a bit of an odd one, but I'll see if anyone has ever done this.

I went back to college as a mature student getting Back To Education Allowance, and I'm now finished 2nd year of a 4 year degree. However, I see some courses listed on the springboard website such as this one http://www.springboardcourses.ie/details/3633 that would definitely have a lot of relevance to my future career and the work experience would also be very valuable.

Here's my question - Is it possible to keep going through with the degree and apply for a place on the springboard course too? I mean, the hours for each course don't clash, and I'd be well able to handle both at the same time.

You must be unemployed.. you're in full time education.
You must be receiving jobseekers' allowance/benefit. You're receiving BTEA.
    Doubt you're eligible.

Also I cannot see you getting two sets of fees - Springboard ain't free, somebodies got to pay.
