looking for full time carer

    I have an elderly relative who requires a lot of home care.
    At present we are using privately funded home care as well as hse hours.
    As needs are increasing i am considering a full time live in carer.
    Could any one point me in the right direction?

    Try contacting The Carers Association of Ireland. They should be able to point you in the right direction

    we are in west of Ireland.
    looking to hire a live in carer maybe a fhilipno nurse with skills dealing with older people

    Why would it have to be a Filipino nurse if you dont mind me asking

    Just look for qualified carer with care of the older persons module.

    Phone your local college who does fetac level 5 and ask for recommendations, ensure they are Garda checked. The college does it.
