Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I have a question for anyone who has BT Sport.

We have Sky multi-room and I just wanted to know if we order BT Sport will the one subscription cover both sky boxes?

    Moved to satellite

The answer is yes, but only if you live in the Republic and pay Setanta whatever the multi room fee is, used to be €2.99 per month per STB.

In the UK you weren't initially able to but this may have changed now. edit: Apparently just one extra box at £5 per month.

So on top of paying Sky the multi-room fee of €15 and paying €20 a month for the BT/Setanta package, I'll have to pay an extra €3 a month for Having my BT on Multi-room?

Disappointing to hear that but I suppose it could be worse.

Sky couldn't include it on their own multi room as they would have no way of knowing who would have BT Sport as BT and Setanta handle sign ups etc. themselves

Like always there's room for negotiation with Setanta/BT, I never paid for the second box and most months didn't pay the full subscription price either.

you'd want to be very unlucky to be paying €20 a month to setanta!

    Cancel it's really that simple.

They will either give you an offer straight away or ring you back and offer you 3 months for 9.99/12.99 a month. Just make sure you cancel again with 30 days notice and they will offer you half price nearly every single time.

Hold out and ask straight out for 9.99 if the offer 12.99
