Best way to insure car

    Looking for some advice here.

The missus and I had a car each. We each had our own policies and were named drivers on each others cars. We have never made a claim.

Due to a reduced need for cars, we have sold my car and are keeping the missus' car.

Is there a way to insure us both on this one car in a way that will allow both of us to keep our respective NCBs?

NCB is valid for 2 years so if you swap each year you should be ok. ie you insure it this year with the wife as a named driver, next year she insures it with you as a named driver. You will need to check with your insurance whether it matters who's named the car is registered in, some will want the car registered to the main driver.

If by missus you mean wife then you should have no issues swapping insurance between you on alternating years. If youre not married then you may have to switch the registration across before you can insure it.
