My hair has been through a lot lately. Can anyone recommend a good product or treatment after a process of color stripping, bleaching and dyeing?

I'd recommend Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner. Just make sure to alternate it with a moisturising shampoo and conditioner every few washes as too much protein is bad for your hair.

Keratese Bain de Force is great. And whatever conditioner goes with it.

I also love the l'occitane repairing mask...very expensive but lasts ages! Best hair treatment I've used.

Great thanks! They're not brands that I'm familiar with, are they available from boots or online?

None of them would be available in boots! Keratase and Redken are available in salons. Loccitane is in some pharmacies. All are online cheaper of course :)

My hair hasn't been through that much, but I do love Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle conditioner. Anytime my hair gets too dry (usually from too much home dye), one or two showers with this gets it back on track.
Aussie may also have a shampoo for damaged hair, I'm not sure. You can get it in Boots :)

+1 to this. I think it's amazing. You can get it online or in salons.

Thanks guys! Just ordered the Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner online, and got a free set of sleep in rollers worth €29.99 plus free delivery. Can't go wrong!

The redken extreme stuff is very good - they used to do a fab product called fuel which is gone now but the 'cat' product is very good you apply to wet hair and dry in - redken extreme cat treatment.

I swear by stuff called 'megatek' by eqyss it's basically pure protein you apply to hair for a few mins after shampooing and wash out.

I've recently been seriously impressed by John frieda full restore repair conditioner as well

Like someone mentioned protein will strengthen your hair but can make it feel coarse or rough so alternate with a moisturising product or use an oil with it.

I actually didn't like extreme myself. :o Found it didn't do anything for me! But loads of people swear by it. I thought Bain De Force was much better for my hair, which is also a protein shampoo.
Must get some more actually, my hair is horrible at the moment.

Kerastase have fantastic conditioning treatments (they're in tubs not bottles) and they really work. I got one for my dry, frizzy hair last week and the difference is unreal. I used one last year called oleo and loved it.

I buy my kerastase from feel unique as they always discount codes. The treatment I bought last week cost €22 but is almost €40 in salons or on other websites.

Another +1 for kerastase brill stuff. Anyone ever try a bumble and bumble conditioner? I heard it mentioned before but can't rem the name. It's an intensive one. Anyone any ideas?
