Hi. My daughter has an old type portable in her room. When we got sky installed in her room , because the tv had no AV button , it wouldn't work. Hi. My daughter has an old type portable in her room. When we got sky installed in her room , because the tv had no AV button , it wouldn't work. The man installing it put the sky box onto our tv did something with settings and put it back onto her tv and it worked.

A few nights ago the sky wont work on her tv again.

Does anyone know what is the issue and how to fix it. When we plug the dvd player onto the portable it works fine.

How is the Sky box connected to the tv? Scart?

I assume when the Sky box or DVD player is powered-on it auto switches the TV to the AV input. If so, is scart control switched on in the settings? Also ensure the scart lead is fully in on both the TV and Sky box.
