The Open 2014 - Tickets

Hi lads... I am bringing my da to the Open next month. I got my tickets before end May (when they were £10 cheaper). I went online today to get his. He is an OAP, is it true that there is no concession for an oul lad?

Seems the only tickets I can buy are adult tickets i.e. once you are over 21.

Anybody know if it is possible to somehow get him a ticket for the Saturday and Sunday at less than full adult price?

As far as i know if he is over 60 years old he will get a discount at the gate.

I don't think there are any discounts once over 21. I don't ever recall seeing a discount gate on the way in.
