Car Insurance renewal

    I received my new quote for renewal of car insurance. It is expensive as i was in an accident 5 years ago but the claim was only settled in recent months so i lost my 5 years no claims bonus. My renewal was 750e but when i got a new quote online from same company it was 500e. Does anyone know, is it legal to say I dont want to renew my insurance and then start off as a new customer as i have no no claims bonus anyways. Any help is appreciated. thank you

    just buy the cheapest once all facts have been declared to the insurance company

    as long as you declare all previous convictions, pp et etc and arent trying to commit fraud there is no issue

    online quotes are usually cheaper.why not just tell them you are going for the online quote. they will know of your history .
    is it legal to say I dont want to renew my insurance
    you are not obliged to renew it with them

    and if you you do not claim you have a ncb on the online how would it be illegal
