    Trailer:

    Synopsis:
Jack and Chloe have a plan in place to eliminate the terrorist threat before any more attacks rock London. With no time to spare and lives on the line, Jack and Kate pursue crucial leads in an attempt to gain the upper hand on the incredibly intense circumstances. Meanwhile, key players reveal their true colors in the all-new “Day 9: 7:00 PM-8:00 PM” episode of 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY
Theres a pretty big spoiler at the end of that trailer though.
Looks action packed again, don't think Margot has long left.

    Whew weee!

That was fun. Navarro is definitely my least favourite character of the season. Hope Jack kicks his ass. Kind of annoyed that Jack didn't tell the CIA that Navarro has ordered the hit. I mean, what'd happen if he'd got shot dead by Steve. Steve could frame him. That's the second time they pulled that lame plot device to drag out a scene. The other time was in S8 spoiler
with the cop from the wire torturing him.

Bye bye Ian and Margot. Thought it was really keeping with his cold brutal nature that Jack just tossed them both to their death. Judge, jury and executioner. Such a change from his speech in s7 where he gave a speech on the virtues of upholding the law wherever possible.
He really is a broken soul.

Anyone got any theories on what Adrien wants the device for? Mark is getting thoughts again. Betray Jack. . .

Will the PM give Jack a knighthood?

Favourite bit of the episode: That cool shootout sequence.

    Yay Heller :D
That 15 minute long shootout was the best! Definitely one of the coolest Jack Bauer kills ever.
Poor Jordan though, thought he would survive. Navarro is a dead man, he wont make it passed the next hour, i'd say the device is for the russians.

Also, best line of the series from Belcheck.

    Heller: So what’s your name?
    Belcheck: 'Belcheck'
    Heller: Belacheck what?
Belcheck: Belcheck – just one word.. like Madonna

Delighted with Heller :D Have to say my favourite part of the whole season was the way Jack calmly just threw her out the window :pac:

Really enjoyed that episode, good old Heller! And Jack Bauer being a badass as usual. Looking forward to seeing how the Navarro storyline plays out.

I wonder if after this episode is a good time for them to do the time-jump?
With the imminent threat of Margot lying in a pool of her own blood, I wonder if they'll forward 12 hours now, and focus on Navarro and Adrien using the device...

I have been staying away from here to avoid any spoilers at all I'm up to date now and really enjoying this season.

Just a quick question how has it been doing in the ratings stateside and are they good enough for it to be renewed?

Delighted with the Heller twist last night.

Audrey really is bugging the crap out of me I kind of hope she gets blown up. She just seems so badly written in this.

I wonder if after this episode is a good time for them to do the time-jump?

    Spoiler about time jump:
The last episode takes place between 10:00 P.M. – 11:00 A.M, a full 13 hours so no time jump until then.
My bet is Jack dies, the clock stops ticking, then fast forwards to his body going home to LA.

No, theres no 2 hour episode, just one a week, but the last Hour is being called an 'Event Series Finale' in the fox promo, whatever that means......

Great to see Jack Bauer has still not lost his capacity to shock even a hardened 24-watching veteran such as myself. I gasped when he threw Margot out the window. It was funny in a twisted kind of way though.
What she said just before she died was kind of true though; hundreds of people did die because of her so Jack didn't beat her completely. He did stop her killing the pres though.
Looks like we are back to square one now though. The override device can be used for more than just drones. Maybe Jack will be forced to choose between Chloe and getting back the device?

Props to the guy in the last thread who predicted the camera loop thing for the drone. :D

    Edit: KeithM89 I think.

Ha, thanks, was the only thing that made sense considering there was no shot of Heller for over 2 minutes.
Was over the moon to see him alive, great twist.

I loved the smirk on Heller's face when Jack told him to get in the car.

Actually William Devane has something funny going on with his mouth. Has anyone else noticed this?

Another guddun! Mixed emotions about Heller surviving though. Obviously he's a champ, but what I always liked about 24 is that they didn't always detonate the bomb with 2 seconds to spare. Sometimes they really were fooked and just had to let stuff happen. Still, what happened was what I expected to. Woop!

I liked the whole process of Jordan's death going through Jack and eventually bringing up the link to Navarro. Jordan was dead as soon as he tried to arrest the assassin. What a fukkin TIKK ;P.

Also, have we been spotting the cast members from SPOOKS? I joked about that once I heard this season would be set in LDN. Nice little touch!

Chloe is basically a rebellious teenager now! Wonder how she'll place for the rest of the season.

Ohhh the time jump has been revealed!

That or its the pardon and we see him embrace the daughter

The was so many elements ongoing in this, excellent TV.
At least I know who is an obvious Jack Bauer successor - Belcheck, respect.

first thing i thought of was the simpsons, when carmen electra was talking to eddie and lou.
    'so what are your surnames?'
"we don't have any, kinda like Cher"

I couldn't stop laughing when Jack threw Margot out the window. I had to rewind and watch it again. I was totally expecting him to bring her back to CTU for questioning.

    Also, this was awesome:
    Heller: So what’s your name?
    Belcheck: 'Belcheck'
    Heller: Belacheck what?

Jack didn't give a 2nd thought about throwing Margot out the window, I actually clapped and shouted when he did it. She was a bad ol bitch.

I think it was because she has no morals in relation to her daughter also

The longer we go without the time jump the more I think it'll happen in the last episode...and unfortunately I think it'll be as a way of wrapping up the 24 series. As some have said this could mean Jack dying and his body returning to LA. But there is also the Russians wanting him.

Hopefully it wont end. Even if it was another 2/3 years before another season came out I'd be happy! Would like to see something along the lines on Jack and a team going after and taking down a terrorist cell, not stopping a terrorist attack from happening. His team could include Tony, Belcheck and a few more...that could be epic! Just thinking something like Operation Nightfall.

I wonder are they going to use the last 13 hours of the day to trial the movie style of squeezing a day into 2 hours or so like they had planned for a while. even a TV movie 2 1/2 hrs long every other year would keep me going :)

24 is always scripted with a 'mini-climix' at around the half way point and then the plot thickens which culminates at the end of the season.
