    Hey everyone
    Im wondering how to advise a friend on training hes 19 stone 35 with diabetes hes not part of any gym ?? He has a cert from his doc stating hes healthy enough to train also how to advise him on nutrition if he is diabetic??

    Type 1 or type 2? If its insulin dependent then it might be better to link in with his endocrinology team, introducing exercise and changing the diet might set off the blood sugars.

    Hi ya he s type 1 but hes confident he can adjust his insulin to suit his diet and training
