    Hi all

I've been doing taekwondo for 6 years and am a black belt but am looking to get in to something different before i get too old :)
Would like something like jiu jitsue or kung fu but finding a place in east cork is impossible. Was thinking about Krav maga too as i like the locks and throws but the videos all show a lot of crotch shots so not really sure.
    Anyone any ideas?

    Thanks

You are going to get a lot of replies with people suggesting the style they themselves do as it's what they enjoy the most.

The best way to find a new style that you enjoy is to try as many different ones as you can. Make a list of clubs in your area and try as many as you can.

    Best of luck

I think you'll struggle to find those arts in East Cork.

Off the top of my head, in Midleton you'll find Karate, Kickboxing, TKD, and Muay Thai/K1/Boxing (that'd be my place!).

We had bjj running before but there just weren't enough numbers to justify keeping it on the timetable.

If you want to travel a little further afield, there's a Judo club in Ballycotton, other than that you're looking towards city centre where you have a choice of BJJ clubs etc etc.

As Peetrik already said - best thing to do if you're not decided on any 1 art is to try a few different classes and see what draws you back!
