Doubling up rambler tickets

Saw that i had two days remaining on my dublin bus rambler ticket. I pay for a new 30 day ticket and I still only have 2 days as I walk on to the bus. Is it possible to pay for another ticket whilst you still have one active or must you wait until the tickets has 0 days remaining to stat afresh?

Yes it is possible - the card will know to use the older card first.
