    hi guys im 26 full clean license 6/7 years no claims i buy and sell the odd car and am looking into getting a trade policy to make this a bit easier.
    has anyone around my age got a policy how much should i expect to pay

    I looked at this idea a few years ago.

    Unfortunately it was prohibitively expensive. Premium was a couple of grand a year.

    So I had a hour to kill and rang around 1100 3rd party only 1300 fire and theft 1600 fully comp up to 85k car.
    Seems reasonable.think il be having that.

    Just make sure you have records to hand of buying and selling specific vehicles in the event of an accident. Motor Trade insurers are clamping down on lads who take out a trade policy to allow them drive a selection of their own cars

    Your proposal from will be quite detailed and will have loads of lines to be filled in,
    re turnover, number of cars in stock premises etc, must be filled in honestly or they won't pay out in event of claim.

    Thanks guys,i am familiar enough with the ins and outs of the trade policy with the dad been in the trade.
    I could have gone under his policy but I would rather gave my own god forbid anything happend.
