    Quick question but are car alloys the same as jeep or crossover alloys?

    Hi Colm was thinkin of change of alloys for a quashqai and was wondering if alloys I seen in around would fit

    Jeep alloys are heavier and stronger than car or crossover alloys and usually fitted with a tyre with big side wall.

    Car alloys are much lighter and fitted with lower profile tyre.

    God only knows what crossovers are as they only look like a jeep but are usually based on a car.

    When you come to aftermarket replacement anything is possible.

    Thanks guys and the quashqai has what looks to me like regular 16inch alloys

    Why isn't that in a FAQ sticky thread or sub forum somewhere? Very useful.
