Replacing dining room window with french doors

We are hoping to get our dining room window (1.9 metre width)taken out and replaced with French doors so its just to remove the brick work below and create a step outside in the garden the width of the door. The doors are 1200 and we got a quote of 2000 from some fitters who priced the job. This price includes materials ie everything except the door. Does 3.2k in total seem excessive as main job is knocking out brickwork. Has anyone else got something similar done
