    Hi guys I have a 2007 Kia Ceed 1.6 D
Just want to gather some info about my car DPF after hearing so many horror story's about DPF. First question does my car have a warning light to let me know if my cars DPF is getting clogged up? And how do I know if a regeneration of the DPF is taking place? Just want to monitor my DPF condition before it's to late.

    Any info thanks

I think the early ceeds might not have had one, or at least only did in certain states of tune.

Really it would be great if it didn't have one. Would it be in the manual if it did have one? Can't see anything about the DPF in manual.

Dpf's rarely give trouble in them either way.

    Seems there ain't one.

My dad's using the newer shape around town 95% of the time and in 20-odd k km it's given no warnings about the dpf.

Thanks lads that's good to know that it hasn't got a DPF. One less thing to worry about. The Kia ceeds seem to be a very reliable car and as stated above the newer Kia ceeds that do have a DPF rarely give trouble.
