    Hi there,
I'm doing my theory test in a few days, then I want to get my provisional license after. I have all the Id's etc. But I'm a little confused about the ndls medical and eyesight reports.
I got glasses a couple of months ago, will I need to get another eye test done?
What is the medical report? Will I need to get a check up? Or do I just get my local gp to sign it to say I don't have any disabilities, serious illnesses etc.? Anyone know around how much it will cost?
    Thanks.

Unless you have the conditions mentioned at the back of the application form, then you do not need a medical report. However, all 1st time applicants need a new eyesight report (which cannot be older than 30 days). Some opticians are doing these for a discounted price for learner drivers. If a medical report is produced instead of an eyesight report it will not be accepted as it implies that you have a medical condition.
