Does anyone know where I can buy some silver/grey brush-in sand for my patios? I have tried a number of places around Galway and they all have the red/buff colored stuff.

Tried Brooks but they didn't have the silver sand.

Try garden centers and also check out play sand for kids sand pits.

Play sand is a good idea, it may be fine enough grade to brush in. I have tried a garden centre who supposedly has it on order and was supposed to be in last Friday and the yesterday, but I think it's one of these places where they will tell you the same sh*t every week and never deliver.

I had the same problem finding this sand last year and somebody on here pointed me to B&Q. I think your Galway B&Q is in the Knocknacarra direction (I'm in Dublin :o). Here's a link to it on the UK site Paving sand

I managed to get four 25kg bags of silver sand today. There are alot of places that have the brush-in patio sand, but none of them seem to have the right colour.
