Final piece of the jigsaw and SOTC

So i was wondering what to fill the final space in the watch box with, and realised that i would have kept my Panerai 000 if it hadn't sold before my JLC.

So with that in mind i decided another Panerai was the way to go. I sometimes struggled with the sheer bulk of the 44mm luminor case, and have always found the Radiomir case a little more cuff friendly. I have previously owned a Panerai 380 which is the base Rad, and really liked it, but the logo on the dial didnt do it for me, and i prefer a sandwich dial. That then mean the 210 or 183 were the likely targets.

Lo and behold a brand new 183 came up on chrono24 from a dutch dealer that i had previously purchased another watch from. A few emails back and forth and further €200 discount and shipping thrown in and a deal was struck.

Have to say im chuffed with this and will hopefully keep it for a while, perhaps adding an alligator strap to dress it up a little.

So with the Panerai Im now left with the Rolex sub-c

    IWC Portuguese

    and a Rolex daytona

I think this might be the end of the flipping for a while :P

Tempted to delete thread so only me and Bedlam can see it. As an anti watch addiction service you understand. :D Gorgeous collection C and a nice spread of styles.

I take it you have no problems with Chrono24, was always on the fence about them, but suppose depends on the dealer

Absolutely depends on the dealer but I've had good experiences

I think you need to add a classic dress watch at some stage but I don't see any reason to flip any of those in the futures, funds willing.

Yes the iwc fulfills that brief for now but at some stage id love a gold calatrava or similar

I don't wear suits day to day so it'd be a bit of a waste right now

Albeit beautiful (I have one too), the Port Chrono is more of a tool watch. I don't ever wear suits nor do I dive or fly planes......
