Just ring her and say you're not happy with it at all and feel it looks no different than when you came in to her. Most hairdressers will ask you to come back and fix it for nothing. You are paying for a service afterall and should get what you asked for.

Dont ask her for more highlights. Tell her you're not happy and can she fix it when she's free.

Any decent hairdresser will want to fix it, OP, because they want you to be happy with it.

Only thing I would say is you probably should have said it to her at the time, you know when they show you your hair in the mirror and ask you what you think? But I understand the lighting may have been different or you only noticed it at home.

It's worth ringing them and telling them you're not really happy with it....be polite...and see what happens.

I agree you should have said it at the time but perhaps you didn't notice it fully. I would ring her rather than text and just say would you mind fixing it for me when you're free instead of demanding more highlights.

Definitely ring rather than text, and don't phrase it so that it sounds like she's doing you a favour. Be very clear about how you want it to look: maybe print a picture, and definitely ask to see the shade swatches so that ye are both on exactly the same page.

Agree with ringing or calling in, if not happy. Any decent hairdresser will do their best to sort it.
I know when I used to get highlights, they sometimes looked better after a week or two, people would start to notice them more, and ask me had I just got them done.

I'm the same, I never get them quite as light as i actually want them as caramel fades to pretty much platinum on me after a few months!
