I rang eircom to cancel my account and they gave me an email address to send information to, to cancel the account. Does anyone know what I write in the email?

I sent one a few weeks ago, and now my mother is ringing me telling me they sent another bill for a scary amount out of nowhere and I thought the cancellation was in process. Why can't they just do it over the bloody phone!? It's so frustrating!!!

    Hi SteffingHell

30 days notice is required from the date the notification request is sent by email/ Post so the Cancellation request may have already been received and is pending but the 30 day notice period may not have elapsed.

When cancelling, You should detail the Account no. Phone No. Name on Account and Confirmation of what is being cancelled- ie Phone, Phone and Broadband etc.

    thanks
    Colm
