    Hi all

My washing machine was turned off by my toddler during a wash and it was full with water and clothes. Then it was turned on again by my wife >frown.png and she started the wash program again (when it was full with clothes and water). Then she turned it off when it started leaking and is now at about 30% full.

Is there anyway I can drain it manually? Its a whirlpool.

Instructions say nothing. Any help would be great!

I'm pretty sure if you put it on rinse & spin that it'll drain. You could put some bath towels down in case it leaks.

Most WM's have a manual drain plug at the front, low down behind pull off panel. Drain into bowl if drain program don't work due to overfilling,

If you turn off your machine mid-cycle and restart, the machine will automatically drain before a new cycle starts. If did not drain down, then it could be something else. Pull out the machine and take the drain hose out of the waste connection. Lie the drain hose flat out on the ground and allow the water to run out into a container. If not, then come back and let us know. But as I said, there should be no need as a change of program or restart will automatically force a machine drain.

Coins or other items put into the machine either through the powder drawer or the drum itself will end up in the filter as previous poster said down the bottom front of the machine.
Open that up, unscrew the cover slowly and drain out the water.
Clean out the filter then and re-start machine.
If you cant clear it you will have to take out the machine, turn it upside down, remove the filter then and clear it.
    Good Luck

There is another area that i've seen quite a few times that people overlook. Turn the WM on its side and, using the bottom for access, disconnect the rubber connection that runs from the base of the drum to the drain pump. (usually a flat hear or philips is all you need). You will find a treasure trove of sh1te in there.
