Moving Home..with UPC

    Hi I just moved house ..and previous to Moving I rang UPC to inform them on the Week before I made my move 10/6/14....as of now 16 june ive moved into my new home.Now UPC tell me that they cannot get a guy out to me until Next friday 27/06/14....Missing all my world cup.
    This is unacceptable....as is the waiting time even to get trough to Customer care,,takes ages

    Are you reading this UPC...LOYALTY etc

    No, they're not; there's a 'Talk to UPC' forum where UPC reps read and reply.

    I presume your new house is in an area already wired for UPC? Most of the time, you just plug in your box to the existing box on the wall and you're ready to go, I've moved house three times with UPC and never needed a guy to come out. Have you tried that?

    How long did you know you were moving?

    I told UPC at least one month ago.......no point in house...problem after problem,,,not a happy camper no tv/internet/phone ....

    According your OP you told them a week before your move?

    Perhaps you need to tell us what the actual time line is?

    Anyway, has your TV got a Saorview tuner onboard?
