    Can anyone recomemnd a decent value engine oil for the 320d?

    Whichoil.ie to get the correct spec oil for your car. Just a case of shopping around then I'm afraid.

    BMW recommends only Castrol.

    For your particular car, Castrol Edge 0W-30 seems to be recommended - Castrol website enables you to check.

    Fuchs Titan 5w30. I have it in my 323 e46. I always used Castrol until I switched to Fuchs. Their gearbox oil is great from cold very smooth gear changes so after I used their gear oil I used their engine oil in my own and the GFs car with no problems at all. It's 50euro for 5ltrs where as Castrol is 55 for 4ltrs.
