upc fees

    I got in touch with upc to get a multi room box.
    I was told
    20 tech fee
    60 installation fee
    45 box fee
    all together 125 before the bill comes out

    That's nonsense, tell them you want to do a self-install. Do you have the co-ax point already there for the second TV with a reasonably modern UPC wall box?

    there is one in the sitting room with cable and box but it is disconnected from the outside

    ??? Multiroom refers to your second or subsequent digital box. Do you have any live UPC signal in the house at the moment?

    Yes I have horizon
    I got in touch with the loyalty department this morning. They are waving the fees being installed in saturday
