    Hi all,
I am looking to pick up a pair of Mavic Ksyrium SLs, Elite S or equally light aluminium clinchers. Must be clean, in good condition with plenty of life left.
I've already got a pair of Aksiums, so just looking for something a bit lighter, and stiffer for sportives/racing.
    Cheers.

I'm interested if original poster doesn't take it up.

Thanks, am interested. But Carlow is a stretch as I'm in dublin. Photos would be great and even better now that someone else is also interested :)

    Hey,

One of the lads is selling a set of elites I think, he got them towards the end of last year and I'd say he might have done 500/700km's max I'd say, they were like new when I seen them, I can get pics tomorrow for you, I think he paid around €900/950 for them,

    Cheers zip,

ba or fixie fox....either of you making a move on the wheelset?
Open to both as no offer was made, I presume?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,085 ✭✭✭ba

Fixie Fox can make offer. I'm gonna wait and see what comes along. Cheers :)

Are you sure I can make an offer as ba was the first poster, looking for wheels?

ba has just nullified his interest. It's open to Fixie fox now!

Can you give an idea of 'slight wear' on rear? If you put a straight edge up against the rim is it concave any bit?
    Are the bearing ok?

Wear is less than the thickness of a bank card.
    Bearings are fine.

A bank card is around .8mm, and it's not recommended to use light rims beyond 1mm wear (I know, we stretch it).
So I'll pass at €290 thanks (new 2014 sets available from €350-360 on German discount sites -4thebike.de, www.bike-discount.de, etc)‏
