what does 'hours of work are as per shift rota' mean?

    was looking to apply for a job and in the description under hours per week it said that. Anyone know what that means?

    Well I could stab a guess that maybe you will be workin shift work and one week u will do more hours than the next.

    In my job I do 48 one week
    31 the next
