Dont try and be the hard men in that weather lads.
Hats and sunscreen on. Farmers have some of the highest rates of skin cancer in Ireland.

The older I get and the more I hear this song, the more relevance it gets, or is that just me? But thrust me on the sunscreen!

Slip, Slap, Slop as the Auzzies would say.
Slip on a shirt, slap on a hat and slop on some sunscreen.

I'm only in and out of the sun and it feels fierce. Anyone out in the full sun must be melting.

    Long may it last.

Would a cowboy hat and long sleeved shirt be better than sun cream?

    yes.

But protect yourself in some way

I have a good base colour but am using factor 50 sunscreen for the past two days. Nothing worse than sunburn.
Also drink plenty of fluids (water) to keep rehydrated.
