Can anyone please advise a good resort for me and my boyfriend to go on Holidays?? I was thinking Spain or Portugal but we're not very familiar with them! We want a nice place not a party place, just a laid back hotel suited for people in their mid twenties or thirties. We want a place with a beach and pool and loads of activities on offer such as hiking, water sports, scuba/snorkelling, para-gliding, nice sights, and that kind of thing. Please help me as it's so hard to find all this info online, I think I just need word of mouth advise.

Thanks so much in advance 😀😀😀

Lanzarote would probably fit the bill.

In Puerto del Carmen there's just about enough nightlife to keep you entertained without slipping into the whole Ayia Napa style holiday. Watersports on Playa Grande and plenty of snorkelling and scuba trips. As for hiking, there are loads of routes to take in the hills behind the resort as well as walks from the harbour in PdC to Puerto Calero. There's even some good walking routes around the volcanoes in Timanfayna National Park.

Have a look at Albufeira in Portugal, only back from there and have pretty much all of what you want. Stayed in Hotel Topazio, lovely little hotel in the middle of everything, perfect for couples too!
