Dabs.ie RMA - MSI R9 290

So I purchased on of these cards about 6 months ago. Started to artifact yesterday and my display drivers would crash, now I get a black screen as soon as I switch my PC on.

I went to the dabs.ie website to try and setup an RMA and they directed me to the manufacturers website. I went to MSI and tried to organize an RMA and they have directed me back to the retailer I purchased it from. Who's liable and who should I push more?

I'd have assumed dabs as they are an EU company and I would have thought that it would be their responsibility but on their returns page it says they only do so for items that are DOA.

    Any thoughts?

6 months? go to dabs - its their responsibility. If still no success read them the riot sale of goods act etc.

    See citizens info website

    http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/consumer_affairs/consumer_protection/consumer_rights/consumers_and_the_law_in_ireland.html

Also if they have social media outlets its worth querying this in public on them as it can influence their response seeing as it is out for everybody to see.

Final option is the Small claims court

I had a faulty mouse(bought it over a year)and had no RMA issue with dabs. I went into my order history and did the RMA from there. They even paid for the return cost. It did take a few weeks though. You're always better off dealing with the retailer.

Strange. I have RMA'd cards with Dabs and they were all sent back there with no mention of manufacturers.

You might have been chatting to the office twit.
Try to find the rma part on their website and go from there
