    Hi, everyone

My husband is on illnes benefit until 12 th of november 2013.He has lower back injury and he has sciatica. He had Mri scan and his three disc are flipped. Today he finished his rehabilitation and now he is on check list to another doctor, and we have to wait.But... His employer is very annoying, he wants to know now when he will be back to work again. He doesnt care about how is he and if he is able to work, and now he wants my husband to live the job before his illines benefit will finish. He won't fire him, he wants him to live the job himself, until july 2014. He knows that my husband won't be able to work so hard as he did before, so probably he doesn't need him and just want him to go away, just like that. My husband doesn't wan't to do this becouse he doesn't know how its gonna be. If his illnes benefit will finish, what he gonna do? without job and money.
Any advices and suggestions what can we do? where to go? Do you think he will get the jobseeker's benefit if he will live the job? He wont be able to work hard, so it will be hard to find a new job for him. we dont know what to do...

Hi anette.anette, I think the "State Benefits" forum is probably better suited, so I've moved the thread for you.
