F1 Competition - Round 8 Austria

Entries must be submitted before the start of qualifying. No Exceptions.

Please ensure you answer all questions individually. Only one answer for each question should be submitted. If more than one answer is selected, you will not be eligible for points for that question.

Please also include your answer to the final THREE questions, what will be the fastest lap, who will be in the top three below, and question 11, what constructor will NOT have any cars finish the race.

Closest to the time gets an additional 25 points. In the case of two people posting the same time, or if there is an equal distance between two individually posted times, the person who posted first will be deemed the winner. Any edits to times made after 1 hour of the original posting/after commencement of qualifying will be disqualified.

The person(s) to guess the top three in the correct order, get an additional 40 points. The person(s) to guess the top three in any order, get an additional 20 points. These points are available to all, to a maximum of 40 points.

All results are final at the start of qualifying.

Question 8 requires a collision of two cars resulting in either driver retiring from the race within that lap. This includes retiring from within the pit lane on the same lap.

MikeLitoris was leading the scoring after the straight out questions with 95 points but racing on a track with no recent history meant that scores were low across the board, and nobody really capitalised. Well done to GhostTrain for getting 20 points on the podium, the only person to vote for Bottas. With more faith in the German he would have got a clean sweep; but then, very few people did.

Antodeco got the fastest lap, but only 3 people bet on Red Bull not getting inside the top 3 and got 35 points for their trouble.

As a result, we have 3 highest scorers this week: MikeLitoris, Ghost Train and smellslikeshoes.

There is a new column above called "Trend" - It's blank unless you download the workbook, in which case it'll show you a little line chart of how your position has gone up and down. (Notes: your "highest" rank is lowest on the chart, though, e.g. the chart thinks #1 is "worst", and it tracks all 20 rounds so that's why everyone's line stays the same towards the end. The minimum and maximum are the range of *your* scores, not where you are relative to everyone else. Actually with this many notes it's probably totally useless, but I like fiddling.)
