I live in Dublin 18 and my estate is split into three separate estates. 2 of the 3 estates have efibre but my estate, still has no efibre installed!! asked eircom why and as usual they can't give me an answer, only a link as to register my interest for if/when it eventually comes to my estate!
I have been a loyal customer of eircom for years, but they wont offer me a loyalty discount and provide me with slow broadband speed and cant tell me when efibre is coming to my estate even though it's already available in the other 2 estates!!!
so frustrated... thinking of switching supplier to sky or vodafone

Might be best to post in the 'Talk To...Eircom' section of Boards.ie to get more info.
Most likely that 2 of the 3 estates are hung off a eFibre enable cab and the remaining section is hanging off another cab which isn't eFibre enabled yet. The Eircom folks should be able to give you some sort of ETA for it should it be coming to that cab.

Note, if Eircom can't supply a FTTC service I'd be doubtful that Sky or Vodafone are gonna offer it since for their fixed line I believe they are just an Eircom reseller

If eircom cant tell you neither can voda or magnet. Sky will lock you into no fibre for the next year. Chill out, its wholesales job so they dont know.

3 Cabs done. Two half done. Probably wont be too long now.
