This site shows up on skyscanner and has flights to Canada for €280 return.

    www.travelgenio.com

The site hasn't been mentioned on boards before so I am wondering if anyone has used them or heard anything about them?
Is it too good to be true?

The flights I saw were going to St John using WestJet.

I checked on Westjet website and could find a really low price 292€ return from DUB to St Johns (14/10 till 21/10)

It's decent but it only gets you to St Johns in Newfoundland, so unless that's your final destination you'll probably have to book an internal flight to get anywhere else in Canada within a reasonable timeframe, and it's my understanding that internal flights are pretty expensive and would probably eat up any money you'd saved versus booking direct to Toronto or wherever....
