I'd love to win that cup, purely because I would be able to say to people "Wanna see the Manzer Tackaberry cup?"

    Best name ever.

Yep, a magnificent name for a trophy; plus a race in honour of probably the greatest cyclist from Kildare, the great Paddy Flanagan; flat circuit as far as I know, no significant climbs but lots of attacking opportunities if the wind blows - 'tis Kildare after all.

I knew him well, a gentleman, in every way.

Great day yesterday, great fast course, aggressive racing in the A4, well marshalled and great bit of grub put on after, chapeau to Newbridge - Frank and John put on a great day again.

Now down to business - anyone seen any pics floating about, specifically of the A4; the finish perhaps??

The bar has been raised very high with that burger!

Was a great course. Nice sized bunch in A4.

A3 was a large bunch but well behaved, 8 were off the front from the go and only caught with 3/4km to go or so, put in a few digs to get a group to chase them but everything was tracked down, slipped out the back towards the sprint as wasn't gonna contest. Lovely circuit, great surface, potholes marked, good motorbike work keeping riders in, and good afters food! Will defo be back!
