To cut a long story short, myself and my wife & daughter were all set for a Summer at home in sunny/howling galey Ireland but thankfully the chance to head towards somewhere even sunnier has popped up.

We've zero research done and so I'd imagine most places are booked out.
5 nights (6 at a push) is all we can manage so we'll need to fly direct to somewhere and get a private transfer to an apartment. We'll be travelling with a 3 y/o.

Can anyone recommend somewhere child friendly, nice pool, a few shops and good restaurants and wifi? Pubs won't matter as we'll be back in the apartment for the little one to sleep. The budget is €1500 for the 5/6 nights.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Camping du Pylone in Biot. Near Nice in the south of France. We've been there three times in recent years. Have a look on TripAdvisor. Jo and Damien Vacher were who we rented the mobile home from. Fantastic place and loads to do.
We paid 450 for a week a year or two back. They'll do airport pickup too. Flights with Ryanair or aer lingus are decent prices.
