Applegreen petrol problems

I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced problems with petrol from applegreen?

I used to always use applgreen and applegreen only to get my petrol in. Over the past few weeks I noticed I was using almost twice as much petrol as I would normally use, without having doubled my mileage. My engine management light had come on too. I thought my petrol consumption was increased because my light was on.

I was advised to change petrol stations and not go to applegreen. I changed to TOP, my engine management light is off and my fuel consumption is back to normal.

Does anyone use applegreen, have you had any problems as of late?

issue is not likely to be the petrol. Not that kind of change in mileage.

I would agree that it sounds like something else and it just coincided with you switching garages.
Maybe something with the engine that increased consumption and also caused the light to come on.
The error is probably stored in the car if you want to get it read.

Have to agree with the others, problem was not petrol. Get your car scanned for fault codes, reckon you'll have a faulty MAF sensor or similar.
