Eircoms blatant dishonesty.

    Know it's been said in many a thread but have to get it off my chest!
    I got a letter from Eircom today telling me that I was eFibre enabled. All I had to do was ring 1800 359359 quickly quickly and I'd get a new modem, connection etc etc.
    Download speeds of up to 100Mb!
    Know a bit about it I so rang them to ask what speeds would I get. 7 Mb! Same as I have now. Actually 4.5Mb. Any faster and it would be unstable I was told.
    I said the letter they sent out gave the impression I'd get much faster speeds.
    The famous excuse "up to " was given.
    The poor girl had no excuse because there is none.
    Totally misleading and in my book dishonest.
    Had trouble writing this post because my bloody iPhone keeps dropping the signal from eircoms crap Zyzel routers.
    Give me patience!
