    Hi all,

I'm wondering about IT jobs in France, to any of you who have experience: where are the major IT cities? Obviously Paris, but what else -- if anywhere else?

I am a skilled software engineer, bored of Ireland, and am considering making a move at some point in the future -- even if just for a year.

My French is not good, which is my main obstacle at the moment. I presume I would have an extremely hard time without medium-level French.

(I hope this is the most suitable forum).

I too am interested in working in France and from what I heard French is not essential in IT depending on what skills you have.

I've been playing with the idea of working in France in a few years and have decided to take up French lessons, and I'm also working in IT.

    Weird :)
