I don't watch Gogglebox so probably missed a lot of the jokes. The Irish lads with all the cans and the Germans with the money was funny though.

If you don't watch Gogglebox then you won't get it.

The British couple were exactly like on the real show.
I thought it was very funny.

Supposedly TV3 are making an Irish one in January 2015 too!

    ^^^^^ See above.
The UK skit was a parody of Channel Fours reality viewer programme "Gogglebox" and was brilliant imo.
We get Apres Match & the Brits have to put up with Adrian Chiles!

Yay... very funny - was looking for a replay on RTE player but can't find anything?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,602 ✭✭✭patmac

The bit at the end when the English couple were talking about having sex was very funny the 2 boys barely held it together, very funny.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,088 ✭✭✭✭_Kaiser_

Awful, but then I'm not big on that sort of "humour" anyway. I class it in the same vein as that Naked Camera/Jakes Stevens rubbish.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 897 ✭✭✭NyOmnishambles

One of the best things about RTE having the coverage for me is watching the lads do the full coverage of the third/fourth place play off

I probably wouldn't bother watching that game otherwise

We should still post the links if/when they appear - this is the best I can do:

'I class it in the same vain as Naked Camera....' Its the use of the word 'I' that is telling, or maybe its the Kaiser part.....yawn

Genious, an exceptional natural capacity of intellect, especially as shown in creative and original work in science, art, music, etc.

No, I don't think so. Fun to watch though.

I didn't rate it at all, to be honest. it was like they wrote it in five minutes after watching Dunphy on The Meaning of Life.

Last night's is between 40 and 50 minutes into the coverage of the England v Italy match. About 10:40pm.

Finally! I did a search for Apres Match yesterday which returned nothing, it's crazy to not have these searchable as programmes in their own right as opposed to a few minutes buried somewhere in hours of coverage.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

So has there only been two so far? The gogglebox and Meaning of Life one?

Apres Match is coming up before 10.20 on RTE2 tonight, according to Darragh Moloney.
