    hi folks .

a friend gave me his i phone to repair . the shop said it is water damaged and want 170 euro to fix it .he didnt drop it in water . he thinks condensation from the shower caused it .

when i plug it in the phone the battery light says its charging but it wont hold a charge so i would say the battery is gone .

the question is is there usually much else damaged with mild water damaged i phones ?

also where do i get a battery pronto ?

    cheers folks

You know you're in the Android thread, right? The iPhone guys might be better able to tell you where to get a battery.

Also, I heard that you can get it fixed by leaving it overnight in some rice...

    Try the Apple Devices forum.

We'd just tell you to buy an Xperia Z.
