Kinda Meh, great free resource but no way I'd pay £4 for it. Nice to play with,
Did the i30 and Shogun and both had incorrect info.

There was a guy working for jato used to come around to us every few months to check the specs on cars. Its a bit general. For example, it'd put a golf gti as having partially painted bumpers, as if its a bad thing.

We used to get competitor info books by jato to tell us why the stuff we were selling was better than rivals.

Some of the spec for the 535 is wrong.... Must try some of the others :D

Edit: I can't edit the one glaring wrong bit of info, they have it down as a manual

Some of the Mondeo info is wrong too. Still though fairly comprehensive (although a lot of already known information) for free!

A load of incorrect info for my car too including the wrong engine! Not very accurate at all actually.

Just checked the Avensis we re-registered to NI. Apparently, that's a diesel powered Toyota GT86. Still produces 200bhp - impressive when running on Diesel

Motorspecs seems to be closesly related to www.motorcheck.co.uk, which has a very similar (exactly the same) home page as it's Irish brother, even though Motorcheck.co.uk " is 100% British owned and managed".

They keep referencing being powered by JATO, but almost no one uses JATO in the UK - CAP and Glasses have the UK sown up. JATO are the ones to go for in most countries, but obviously it's not working so well for the UK.

Random check of an A5 for sale in the UK seemed to be a bit more accurate. Good idea I suppose, just needs a bit more work.
