Can't really afford to pay memberships to a club. Looking to meet up with someone and have a game every now and then. I usually only play in the summer months but I do love the game when I get into it. I'm finding it hard to find a playing partner as my friends are lazy buggers or are too busy.

I'm male, 31, decent fitness levels

Anybody got any ideas on how to play more??

There are a few meetup.com groups around Dublin who play on the public courts, all levels you might like to look into that.

Where is she doing the lessons? Maybe the place she is doing the lessons will have a list of players that are looking to play

Great new opportunity to get to know people, get coaching and play tennis for very little cost. Its in the new Rosemont school in Kilternan..Google LCtennis and the details will come up. Tomorrow, Sunday, turn up at 5.30 and for 5Euro you get two hours coaching and social play. Its on the enniskerry road, if you're driving its about 5 mins from dundrum town centre. the school is brand new so facilities top notch. Its not a club as such yet but may become one but they have 5 coaches, some from a prestigious sports club not too far away. only found out about is myself yesterday. Went and spoke to the guy running it. He said they were having a bbq in the next couple of weeks after the tennis. Could turn into something good...
