Well as many know results are out and in my case one exam I missed out on compensation by 3 percent, was wondering from people who had rechecks is it worth it? Also what is the most percent anyone has seen their exam go up by? I feel I had done enough to pass but the result says otherwise. Also would you advise rechecking or just forget about it and prepare for second sitting? Thanks guys

What I'd do is arrange a meeting with the lecturer whose exam it was, and ask them if they think it's worth a recheck - it's common for the lecturers to try their absolute best to squeeze out all the marks they can for students, so it's worth a chat to see if they've already done their best by you. 3% may not seem like much, but it's actually a lot to make up. I'd definitely go down the informal route before going to the hassle of a recheck.

Yeah there is a consultation day in two weeks the only thing is a feel like I did do well enough but one of the lecturers doesn't have the best reputation in regards to being a kind examiner, but I suppose no harm in trying, and yes 3 percent is a lot, I don't really know what is the range for checks, they never really told us so wondering if anyone has any tips to what range you should be in to consider rechecks

Are results out for everyone? Are they online?

Just click the link for "results here" under number 1. Some results are out but some subjects aren't for another week or so, all results are released between 10th of June and 20th of June, I know some people haven't got theirs yet, hope you get on better than me ha

Also how do you go about getting your exam paper transcript to see if you should recheck?

One person has suggested the informal route and I would agree with this. Organise a meeting with them on the consultation day. If you are not happy with what they say, ask for a recheck.
I have known quite a few people who have talked to lecturers about results and got increases in their marks. Even without the rechecks. Lecturers quite often make errors correcting exams. They have hundreds to correct and are only human. Don't just leave it as it is though......

I know a person who got bumped up from a 2:2 to a 1:1 in a specific module...

Thanks, ye I suppose no harm in trying! Hard to tell what is a suitable percent to enquire though
